So Gorsuch screwed us. What are our options?

By now we’ve all seen the bad news. Gorsuch, writing for a bitterly divided 5-4 majority, smashed a wrecking ball into employee rights today.

So what do we do next?

Pushing for legislation to undo this atrocity is a good thing. And we can push on the state level as well as the Federal level. In a HuffPost article on this ruling, the comments section included this comment:

Dana Douglas ·

In California, at least, workers remain protected in two ways: (1) they can assert the state law Private Attorney General Act (PAGA) which allows for a collective action under the power of the state government, annd (2) they can file a single claim with the Labor Commissioner at zero cost and no need to have an attorney.

Perhaps other states will now follow suit. Of course, none of the conservative states where employees are most in need of protection, but perhaps the decent states will.

Got any examples of similar state regulations? Let’s compare.
